Membership
For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. Romans 12:4-5
Apostles Church greatly values membership. Those who join the spiritual family of Apostles Church partner with the staff of Apostles to carry out its purpose in the New York City Metro Area. As members live in the culture of NYC, they serve as Christ's representatives to those that God has sovereignly placed in their lives. When you become a covenant member at Apostles, you are embracing your calling to belong to a local body of fellow Christ-followers with whom you worship and serve and live on mission in our city. The staff and leadership of Apostles Church are committed first and foremost to its members providing them with leadership, instruction, counsel and care and helping them to carry out their missional calling.
Membership Process
For those regular attendees wishing to transition to membership we invite you to enter into the membership process. This process is a self-paced process that culminates in a day long membership class. By attending the class, you are NOT making the commitment of becoming a member (although you will have the opportunity to become a member at the end of the class). The class is an opportunity for you to explore membership in the body of Apostles and to find out more about the church and to ask any questions you might have.
