Holy Week: Easter Sunday

This is the climax of the Christian calendar, the most holy day of the year. Easter Sunday is the great celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
As the Apostles Peter states, "...this Jesus, delivered up according to the definite plan and foreknowledge of God, you crucified and killed by the hands of lawless men. God raised him up, loosing the pangs of death, because it was not possible for him to be held by it." Acts 2.23-24
And so we celebrate Jesus as our Savior and Redeemer, Conquer of sin and death. He bore our punishment on Good Friday and then goes on to defeat it forever. As Pastor JR has shared, the Resurrection changes everything.
