We Need Your Help - Sunday Volunteers Needed
Both of our congregations (UES & USQ) are in need of more Sunday worship gathering volunteers. If you regularly attend and are not currently serving on a Sunday Ministry Team, we need you. Here are the current team needs:
- Upper East Side
- Presentation Team (FILLED) - Running the projector slides during the service
- Operations Team (9 Volunteers) - Setting up and tearing down equipment for the service
- Welcome Team (5 Volunteers) - Welcoming and ushering guests during the service
- Union Square
- Operations Team (6 Volunteers) - Setting up and tearing down equipment for the service
- Welcome Team (FILLED) - Welcoming and ushering guests during the service
- Presentation Team (2 Volunteers) - Running the projector slides during the service

Love146 Task Force - To End Sex Trafficking
Love146 works domestically and internationally towards the abolition of human trafficking and child exploitation. Professionals in Action
Join a team of skilled professionals on short term pro-bono projects! Hope For New York's Professionals In Action program is seeking a graphic designer, copy editor, marketing professional, photographer, and website developers to assist HFNY affiliates. Bowery Mission Women's Center: Serve a meal on the UES
Women needed to be part of the 4th Saturday meal at this UES home which offers homeless women a nine month residential recovery and transitional program. Be part of building relationships, preparing a meal and encouraging these women on their journey. The meal service happens from 3:30PM-7:30PM at the UES home. To learn more email Christina at .
Living Waters Fellowship: Help teach ESL in Brooklyn
Be a part of a tutoring team that works with immigrant adults in helping them acquire English as a second language every Saturday from 11:00AM to 12:30PM. For more information or to volunteer contact: .
New Song: Join a Community & Teach ESL on Monday Evenings in Harlem
New Song is a neighborhood church located in West Central Harlem striving to play a role in making the neighborhood a just and joyful place. Volunteers are needed to teach ESL students on Mondays from 7:30PM to 9:30PM. Contact for more information and to volunteer. This volunteer opportunity requires a 3 month commitment.
Brooklyn Arab American Friendship Center - ESL, Computer Classes and Childcare
The Brooklyn Arab American Friendship Center is a place where Arab American families can come to learn ESL, develop meaningful friendships, and bridge cross-cultural barriers. Volunteers are needed to teach ESL classes and provide childcare Mondays through Thursdays during the day and evening. Volunteers also needed to teach basic computer classes on Saturdays. Teen Challenge - Activity Nights, Friday Night Worship, Men's Basketball
Brooklyn Teen Challenge works with adults whose lives have been impacted by addictions. Build relationship and encourage the students at Teen Challenge by hosting activity nights, playing basketball or helping with Friday Night Worship. Individuals and Groups welcome! Clothing Donations Bowery Mission
